Knoxville Orthopaedic Surgery Center

COVID-19 Testing Requirements

ALL patients ordered as Choice or General Anesthesia require a COVID-19 test no more than 4 days prior to the procedure. Patients should self-isolate after receiving a negative test result until their procedure, to prevent any potential exposure.

Patients are responsible for setting up their COVID-19 test and are required to bring a copy of the test results to KOSC on the day of their surgery. Patients may get the test anywhere they chose - as long as they are able to get results before surgery. Failure to arrive with written test results will require us to reschedule the procedure. You may have your test done at your PCP or any other facility you prefer.

Options for testing locations in the Knoxville area are listed below:

AFC URGENT CARE - Cedar Bluff - call for appointment and information.

AFC URGENT CARE - Kingston Pike, Sevierville, Fountain City, Chapman Hwy, Farragut - call for appointment and information.

INTERNAL MEDICAL ASSOCIATES - call for appointment and information.

** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET A COPY OF YOUR NEGATIVE RESULTS TO BRING WITH YOU TO KNOXVILLE ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEY CENTER THE DAY OF YOUR PROCEDURE**
